Just a few hundred yards from Old Hickory Lake lies historic Spring Haven Mansion. Steeped in history and charm, the gorgeous two-story home sits on beautiful tree-enshrouded grounds. The property includes a cabin, a natural spring, spring house, original smoke house, and barn.
Built in the early 1800s by Polly Wagnon and her husband John — a close friend and personal physician of Andrew Jackson — the mansion shares many design elements with Jackson's nearby home, the Hermitage. Jackson was a frequent visitor to the property.
Today, Spring Haven is one of the most popular Nashville-area wedding venues and romantic elopement destinations.

With a comfortable capacity of 125 guests, the terrace comes alive with uplighting and our handcrafted wooden bar. Fire lamps can be provided on chilly fall evenings to keep guests warm as they dance into the enchanting Tennessee night.

What's the maximum guest count for a wedding at Spring Haven?
Up to 125 guests. That's what the covered terrace holds comfortably, and it's the count in the Magnolia Collection. The Heritage Collection covers up to 100 and the Custom Collection 40, or as many as 75 with add-ons. All three are on our Packages page.
Do you host elopements and smaller ceremonies?
Yes. We have five elopement packages, from Just Married at $575 (15 minutes, up to 5 guests) to Friends & Family Plus at $3,875 (3 hours, up to 20 guests). Each one includes an officiant, a photographer, and the permits and venue fees. For a small wedding rather than an elopement, the Custom Collection is $2,975 for up to 4 hours and 40 guests.
Is the mansion available for tours?
