Asking about a tour or a date
The form on our Book a Tour page is HoneyBook’s, shown inside our page. What you type into it goes to HoneyBook, which keeps your inquiry and lets us know it arrived; this website keeps no copy. HoneyBook handles it under its privacy policy, and its form also loads a small HoneyBook tracking image.
When the form is sent, the page tells Google Analytics that a request came in, with none of what you wrote.
What our site logs
Our site keeps its own record of page views on Cloudflare, written before any script runs in your browser: the page, the site, search or ad that sent you, your kind of device and your browser, and the town, state, country and internet provider of your connection as Cloudflare estimates them. Your IP address isn’t in it, and neither is anything that names you. It also notes taps on our phone number and email address, and how long a page stays open.
Visitors outside the United States and Canada are turned away at the edge, and the country Cloudflare reports for your connection decides it.
Cookies
The site’s own cookie is ts_src, set when a visit begins. It holds where the visit came from (the referring site or ad, the first page, your kind of device and the time), carries no identifier, and ends when you close your browser. Google Analytics sets _ga and _ga_JWN2ESW3YM.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics as a second count of visits. It sends Google the pages you view, how you found us, and taps on our phone number, email address and tour buttons, under Google’s privacy policy. Google’s opt-out add-on, or blocking cookies for this site, stops it.
Other services
Cloudflare hosts the site and our photo gallery, and sees your IP address when it sends you a page, as any host does. The typefaces load from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address when your browser fetches them. Our Facebook, Instagram and Google Maps links, and the elopement packages on elopementsinc.com, take you to those sites, where their own policies apply.
